The FOD INTERCEPTOR is an intelligently designed FOD Sweeper used for collecting debris from tarmacs, aprons and runways and is ideal for airports, military bases and national and regional airports. With a sleek, compact and portable design, the FOD INTERCEPTOR can be used in remote areas via small aircraft and deployed within minutes.

The FOD INTERCEPTOR easily hitches onto any vehicle, requires low maintenance, includes enhanced safety features and can be used during the day or at night and in wet or dry conditions. Affordable and efficient, the FOD INTERCEPTOR maximises the collection rate and ability to scoop up larger objects. Plus, it comes with a ten year warranty.

The FOD INTERCEPTOR is available in several configurations to accommodate facilities of any size and nature. Custom friction sweeping mats are made in Australia and available in 6ft (1.8m), 7ft (2.1m) and 8’ (2.4m) widths.

Available Configurations & Hardware

• GTX1 - Speed Hitch: FOD INTERCEPTOR with speed hitch offers an 8 foot (2.4m) wide sweeping path for towing speeds of up to 24 mph (40km/h). Ideal for on ground support vehicles moving around the tarmac to adopt a “clean as you go” practice as personnel move around performing their regular duties.

• GTX2 - Bar: FOD INTERCEPTOR x 2 paired together with the GTX2 Bar extends the cleaning area to 16 feet (4.8m) wide.

• GTX2S - Trailer: FOD INTERCEPTOR x 2 paired together with the GTX2 Bar extends the cleaning area to 16 feet (4.8m) wide. Trailer includes support cradle to transport sweepers.

• GTX3 - Trailer: FOD INTERCEPTOR x 3 triangled together with the GTX3 trailer is capable of towing 3 x 8 feet (2.4m) sweepers to extend your cleaning capabilities to 24 feet (7.2m) wide. Trailer includes support cradle to transport sweepers.
